Founded in Bahrain in 2019, Sturdy Consultancy Services (SCS) supports its wide array of clients in the Middle East in analyzing and managing risks related to the security of their critical industrial facilities.

SCS relies on its wide pool of consultants from varying backgrounds in order to provide a wide array of services to our many clients.

Although SCS is based in Bahrain, we operate namely in Saudi Arabia and in the Middle East, with partners and clients in Jordan, the United Arab Emirates.

RISK ASSESSMENT

SCS develops Security Risk Assessments in order to identity threats, (Physical and network) vulnerabilities and risks associated to our client facilities and processes and proposes countermeasures to reduce those risks.

SCS is particularly experienced in the use of American Petroleum Institute (API) methodology.

We also develop Quantitative Risk Assessments in order to quantify the risks of « major hazards » through the estimation of the probability that a defined harm will result from the occurrence of a particular event.

DESIGN OF SECURITY SYSTEMS

SCS has developed Concepts of Designs, Preliminary Designs and developed Detailed Designs for projects in multiple industries.

We can also manage a bid process through the production of Requests for Tender (RFT), evaluation of bids and technical comments on offered solutions.

We perform design compliance audit reports in order to verify specifications as agreed in contracts and validate system solutions against requirements.

COMMISSIONING & SUPERVISION

Systems that are implemented will require some configuration to be compatible with the client’s current and planned systems and processes. SCS has capability to supervise the installation of Industrial Security, Cyber Security, and Fire Protection Systems in order to ensure their compliance with applicable regulatory and client requirements.

We participate, witness, and evaluate System Acceptance Tests (SAT) conducted by the integrator and perform complete audits of the installation to ensure compliance with the Detailed Design.

SCS produces a report including a summary of the results for all security systems implemented by the project.

SCS work with their clients to develop security policies, post order and operational procedures aimed to provide guidelines for the Industrial Security Department on their day-to-day activities and on incident response.

SCS can provide support on planning not only for major incidents but also for a full range of lesser incidents in order to bring them to a close before they become disasters.
